The miseries of the world cannot be cured by physical help only. Until man’s nature changes, his physical needs will always arise, and miseries will always be felt. And miseries will arise as long as there are differences in economic needs between individuals and societies. So long as such differences exist, men will strive to get the better of one another. That will cause competition, quarrels, and strife. Good and evil have existed side by side since the beginning of creation. The solution does not lie in destroying evil, but in modifying the character of man. Man must be taught that he is not born to wrestle with others, but to cooperate.
